Philip Mazza is a novelist with boundless imaginative gifts - a spellbinding storyteller who has created for us a captivating world with The Harrow Saga.

Born and raised in upstate New York, he grew up avidly reading science fiction and fantasy. Philip received his undergraduate degree from LeMoyne College, where he majored in Business, and later went on to earn a graduate degree from Purdue University. His career focused on human resource management and operations, holding leadership positions for companies both large and small. He has also served on the boards for several not-for-profits. Now a Professor at the Madden School of Business at LeMoyne College, Philip dedicates much of his time to his classes and students.

A writer since high school and heavily influenced by Tolkien and Vonnegut, it took him ten years to finish writing his debut novel From Under a Tree, which was published in 2014 to critical acclaim. Two years later, a Special Edition was published. Philip writes epic fantasy (The Harrow Saga), and science fiction (coming soon - The Child of Fire, The neon Hive, The Never-Ending Road, A God ‘Twas I, At the End of It All). A lover of these genres, he finds himself meeting new, intriguing characters all the time in his own fictional worlds.

These days, Philip tends to get sidetracked by his love for teaching, reading, travel and gardening. When he can, he grabs any bit of free time, usually early in the morning, and escapes to his office to write. He and his wife enjoy travel; they continue to live in upstate New York and spend time in Key West.
